Old Rag Master Naturalist Scholarship Program 2026
Purpose Statement
The Old Rag Master Naturalist (ORMN) Chapter sponsors annual academic scholarships to support high school seniors who plan to pursue college degrees in wildlife management or science, natural resources, agriculture, forestry, conservation, environmental studies, or related fields.
Applicants must be residents of the ORMN service area, which includes Culpeper, Fauquier, Greene, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock counties.
Scholarship recipients are selected based on demonstrated leadership, involvement in environmental stewardship activities (past and present), and alignment with ORMN’s mission and values. The goal of this program is to encourage higher education that fosters lifelong commitment to conservation and the natural world.
The Scholarship Committee administers the program under the oversight of the ORMN Board of Directors.
